About us — the history of Gloria Hotel

The Gloria Hotel in Tashkent did not appear by chance. Its history began long before the foundation stone of the future complex was laid. In the early 2000s, a team of hospitality enthusiasts thought about creating a place that would combine European standards of service, the comfort of an Oriental home and an atmosphere to which one would like to return. This is how the idea of the Gloria Hotel arose — a hotel in which every guest would feel truly welcome.

The location of the hotel was chosen for a reason. Today, the center of Tashkent is the business heart of the city, but ten years ago, the area where the Gloria Hotel stands today was a block with historical buildings and narrow, quiet streets. The designers sought to preserve the spirit of the area by creating a modern architectural object that harmoniously fits into the urban environment. That is why the facade of the hotel combines clear lines of modern design and soft elements inspired by traditional Uzbek architecture.

From the very beginning, the main philosophy of the Gloria Hotel was built around the idea of an individual approach. The hotel team carefully studied the needs of the guests — travelers, families, entrepreneurs and professionals who come to Tashkent for work.
